A.L. Freedman Company was established in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1906. The company specialized in commercial roofing, waterproofing and sheet metal fabrication. Over the years the company grew to become one of the largest and most respected contractors in the Northeast. A.L. Freedman Company always stood as a symbol of excellence both in terms of its quality of work and how it treated its customers.

This tradition is carried on today in the consulting field. Our staff has over 70 years combined experience in all types of roofing, waterproofing, wall coatings and general construction knowledge. Since 1995 we have provided these services to a large number of well-satisfied customers in Southwest Florida.

We provide our consulting services to a variety of sectors from commercial, industrial, condominium to general contractors and architects.

Jim Freedman's experience includes working as a roofer, project superintendent, working for manufacturers of roofing products, product development and testing and consulting. Mr. Freedman teaches five State of Florida approved courses on construction to property managers. Mr. Freedman holds a degree in Business Administration.

Ron Herron's experience has ranged from being a general project superintendent for a general contractor to having worked for the nation's largest roofing contractor as well as manufacturers of roofing products. Mr. Herron's developed his own computer software to track job progress and costing. Mr. Herron holds an engineering degree.
